Elementary Holds Spring Spectacular
Wilmington Area Elementary School held the 2nd annual Spring Spectacular for Kindergarten and First Grade students on Tuesday, April 4. Before a fun and festive egg hunt on the football field, our youngest greyhounds paraded around the track in their spring bonnets and hats which were creatively decorated with the help of their families. Our Greyhound Marching Band led the students where parents, grandparents, and loved ones were cheering everyone on.
Two seniors, Emma Lipo, and Kinsley Shimrack, were the announcers for our Spring Spectacular and kept the students engaged along with an Easter bunny and two chicks who danced and interacted with our little ones.
Thank you to everyone who made this spring event possible! It was absolutely wonderful to watch the joy on the students’ faces and hear their squeals of delight!
